Cookie policy
This website uses the minimum cookies needed to work and, only if you accept them, analytics cookies to see which pages are read most. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell browsing data. Here we explain which cookies exist, what they do and how to manage them, in line with article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI) and the cookie guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that the website stores in your browser to remember something between one visit and the next: the language you chose, whether you have already seen the cookie notice or, in the case of analytics, that today's visit and tomorrow's are from the same person. Cookies cannot read your hard drive or install programs. Data collected through them is processed in line with the privacy policy.
Which cookies we use
Technical cookies do not need your consent because the site does not work without them. Analytics cookies are only set if you click accept on the notice.
| Cookie | Type and owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | Technical, first-party | Remember whether you accepted or rejected cookies so we do not ask again | 12 months |
| locale | Technical, first-party | Remember the language you chose (Spanish, English or Russian) | 12 months |
| [nombre pendiente] | Analytics, third-party [proveedor pendiente de confirmar] | Count visits and page views in aggregate to improve the content | [duración pendiente] |
Third-party cookies and external services
The WhatsApp button links to the WhatsApp app or website (Meta Platforms Ireland), which sets its own cookies on its own domain, not ours. The same applies if you click a link to our Google profile from reviews. The contact form sends your details to our job management system without setting any additional cookies.
If in future we add maps, videos or other external services that set cookies, we will update this table and ask for your consent before loading them.
How to accept, reject or delete cookies
On your first visit you will see a notice with two equally weighted options: accept or reject analytics cookies. Rejecting them does not limit any function of the site. You can change your mind by deleting the cookies in your browser, after which the notice appears again.
To delete or block cookies in your browser:
- Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies and other site data.
- Safari (Mac and iPhone): Preferences or Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings, Privacy and Security, Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings, Cookies and site permissions.
Changes and contact
We review this policy whenever the site's cookies or the law change. The date of the last revision is shown at the bottom of the page. For any question about cookies or personal data, email hola@manitascosta.es or use the contact page. The general terms of use of the website are in the legal notice.
Frequently asked questions
If I reject cookies, can I still ask for a quote?
Yes. The form, the WhatsApp button and the phone number work exactly the same with cookies rejected. The only thing we will not do is count your visit in the statistics. The technical consent and language cookies are stored in any case, because the site needs them to remember your choice.
Do you use advertising or social media cookies?
No. There are no Facebook pixels, Google Ads tags or any advertising trackers on manitascosta.es. If one day we run campaigns that need conversions measured on the site, we will add those cookies to the table and they will only be activated if you expressly accept them in the notice.
What data does the analytics cookie collect?
Pages viewed, length of visit, device type and approximate city based on the IP address, which the provider anonymises. It does not collect your name, phone number or anything you type into the form. It tells us, for example, whether the roller shutter strap guide is read more from Valencia or from Alicante.
Do I need to accept cookies for the site to remember my language?
No. The language cookie is technical and is stored even if you reject analytics, because without it the site could not show you pages consistently in Spanish, English or Russian. If you clear your browser cookies, the site goes back to the default language until you change it.
