Home repair services in Valencia, Alicante and the Costa Blanca
Here is every service we offer at your home, from opening a locked door to fitting an IKEA kitchen. They all work the same way: a fixed price before we start, a 6-month written guarantee and an invoice including IVA (VAT). How to choose the right service
If you have one clear fault, go straight to its page: a door that will not open or a cylinder that will not turn, locksmith; a sink, toilet or shower that will not drain, drain unblocking; a snapped strap or a persiana (roller shutter) that will not go up, roller shutter repair. A dripping tap, a running cistern or a sweating flexi hose is a job for the plumber, not the drain team.
If what you have is a list of small things (silicone, a picture to hang, a door handle, a loose socket), the cheapest option is the handyman by the hour: one visit, several jobs. Wooden doors that stick or sliding wardrobe doors off their track go to the carpenter; flat-pack furniture goes to furniture assembly.
Emergencies and scheduled work
Locksmith and drain jobs are emergencies: we arrive in 20-45 minutes in Valencia, Alicante, Torrevieja and Benidorm, and at night or on bank holidays with a surcharge. Roller shutters, plumbing, hanging a TV or assembling a wardrobe usually get done the same day if you write in the morning, or the next day.
Painting, made-to-measure fly screens, awnings and shower screens are booked for a date: first we measure or you send us the measurements, we give you the price and we fix the day. In high season (May to July for fly screens and awnings) it is worth booking one or two weeks ahead.
What we do not do
We only take on work that does not require a licensed installer in the Valencia region. That rules out new electrical installations and boletines (certificates), gas, boilers and water heaters, air conditioning involving refrigerant gas, and renovations that need a building licence. Frequently asked questions
Can I book two services in the same visit?
Yes, and it usually works out cheaper. If the same tradesman can do both (for example a roller shutter strap and a tap), we quote it as one job. If two different trades are needed, say a locksmith and a painter, we coordinate two visits and give you a price for each.
How do I know the price before you come?
Send a photo of the problem and, where relevant, the measurements on WhatsApp. In most cases that is enough for a fixed price. If we need to see it in person, the visit costs €25 in Valencia or Alicante city or €35 elsewhere, and that amount is deducted from the job if you accept the quote.
Do you bring the parts or do I buy them?
Either works. We carry the usual roller shutter straps, cistern mechanisms, lock cylinders, flexi hoses and traps in the van. If you would rather buy the tap, the shower screen or the furniture yourself at Leroy Merlin, Bricodepot or IKEA, we only charge the labour and the part keeps the manufacturer's warranty.
Do you work for residents' associations and businesses?
Yes. We work for comunidades de vecinos (residents' associations), property administrators, estate agents and holiday-let managers across Valencia, Alicante and the Costa Blanca. We issue invoices with VAT, can collect keys from the agency, and send before-and-after photos to the owner, in English or Russian if needed.
