Where we work: Valencia, Alicante and the whole Costa Blanca
We cover both provinces from four bases: Valencia, Alicante, Torrevieja and Benidorm. In those cities we arrive in 20-45 minutes; across the rest of the Costa Blanca, between 30 and 70 minutes. Pick your town to see neighbourhoods, local prices and the faults we see most often in your area.
Four bases and an entire coastline
Every handyman on the team has his own area and lives in it, so nobody is crossing the province for a single job. From Valencia we cover the metropolitan area: Mislata, Burjassot, Paterna, Torrent, Alboraya and Alfafar. From Alicante we reach San Vicente del Raspeig, San Juan, Mutxamel, El Campello and Santa Pola.
Torrevieja is the base for the Vega Baja: Orihuela Costa, La Mata, Guardamar, Rojales, Ciudad Quesada and Pilar de la Horadada. Benidorm looks after the Marina Baixa: Villajoyosa, Finestrat, La Nucía, Alfaz del Pi, Albir and Altea. The Marina Alta (Dénia, Jávea, Calpe) is covered within 30-60 minutes.
What changes from one area to another
The price of the job is the same across the whole area, with one exception: if you do not accept the quote after a visit, the call-out fee is €25 in Valencia or Alicante city and €35 everywhere else. If you accept, nothing extra is charged.
What does change is the kind of fault. On the seafront (Playa de San Juan, La Mata, Levante, Les Marines) the salt air corrodes fly screen and shower screen rollers, lock cylinders and roller shutter fittings. In the older blocks of Valencia and Alicante it is shutter straps, Roca cisterns and grease-blocked kitchen sinks. In second-home urbanisations (Orihuela Costa, Calpe, Santa Pola) most of the work is gaining entry, changing cylinders and getting the house back in order after months closed up.
If your town is not on the list
Write to us anyway. We reach almost every municipality between Oliva and Pilar de la Horadada, and inland as far as Alcoy, Elche and Crevillent. For towns more than 30 km from a base we tell you on WhatsApp whether we can come the same day or whether it makes more sense to group the work into one scheduled visit. Frequently asked questions
How long does it take you to reach my town?
In Valencia, Alicante, Torrevieja and Benidorm, 20 to 45 minutes for an emergency. In Dénia, Jávea, Calpe and Altea, 30 to 60 minutes. In Alcoy, 40 to 70. For non-urgent jobs (roller shutters, furniture assembly, painting) we give you a time slot the same day or the next, depending on the diary for your area.
Do you charge more to come out to an urbanisation away from the centre?
No, the price of the job is the same. The only thing that changes is the call-out fee if you end up not going ahead: €25 in Valencia or Alicante city, €35 elsewhere. For very remote urbanisations we tell you before setting off; you never find it as a surprise on the invoice.
Do you work on second homes when the owner is not there?
Yes, it is a big part of what we do in Torrevieja, Orihuela Costa, Calpe and Santa Pola. We collect the key from the agent or a neighbour, do the job, send photos and the invoice by email, and you pay by bank transfer or Bizum. We work in Spanish, English and Russian.
Do you have handymen in Castellón or Murcia?
Not at the moment. We work in Valencia province (the city and metropolitan area) and the whole of Alicante province, from Oliva down to Pilar de la Horadada. If you are right on the border, in San Pedro del Pinatar for example, ask us: we can sometimes come out from Torrevieja.
