These are the prices we actually charge, including IVA (VAT), for the most requested jobs in Valencia, Alicante and the Costa Blanca. Each price page explains what is included, what pushes the price up and when it is worth doing it yourself. If your job is not here, send a photo and we will give you a fixed price.

These are the usual ranges between 8am and 9pm. The final price depends on access, parts and whether it is an emergency, and we always confirm it before starting.

How we work out the price
We do not charge by the clock except for the handyman-by-the-hour service and small building works. For everything else the price is per job: one door opening, one strap, one tap. We set it from your photo and confirm it on the doorstep before a single tool comes out. If something else turns up once we open things up (a rotten trap behind the sink, a lock as well as the cylinder), we stop, show you and give you the new price. You decide.
- Emergency and time of day: nights and bank holidays carry a surcharge only for locksmith, drain unblocking and emergency plumbing jobs.
- Parts: the cylinder, the tap or the awning fabric are extra and we tell you the price first; you can buy them yourself.
- Access: a fifth floor with no lift, a reinforced door or a roller shutter with no inspection hatch all add time.
- Distance: the price is the same across the whole area; only the call-out fee changes if you do not accept the quote (€25 in Valencia or Alicante city, €35 elsewhere).
- Volume: several jobs in the same visit work out cheaper than booking them separately.
How to avoid the "from €29" adverts
Locksmith and drain adverts are full of bait prices that end in €300 or €400 bills. The warning signs: a phone number that does not say the company name, a price that "depends on what the technician finds", pressure to pay cash without an invoice, and a refusal to give a fixed price on WhatsApp.
We publish our ranges, confirm the price in writing before coming out and always issue an invoice with VAT. If someone quotes you more than €150 for an ordinary daytime door opening, get a second opinion. We go into detail in how much a locksmith costs and how much drain unblocking costs.
Frequently asked questions
Do the prices include VAT?
Yes, every price on this site includes 21% IVA, and the invoice itemises it. There are no separate charges for admin, insurance or tools. The only thing outside the labour price is parts, and we itemise those before buying them.
What is the surcharge for a night or bank holiday emergency?
It only applies to locksmith, drain unblocking and emergency plumbing work outside 8am to 9pm. A night-time door opening costs €90-150 against €60-90 in the day; an emergency drain job €130-220 against €70-180. We tell you the surcharge when you call, never on the invoice.
How and when do I pay?
When the job is finished and you have seen it working. We take cash, card, Bizum and bank transfer. On long jobs such as painting a flat or fitting a kitchen we ask for a deposit to buy materials and the balance at the end. Always with an invoice, even if you pay cash.
Is the WhatsApp quote binding?
Yes, if the fault is what the photo shows. If the job turns out to be different when we arrive (for example the cistern is not leaking at the mechanism but at the seal with the pan), we give you the new price before carrying on and you can say no, paying nothing beyond the €25 or €35 call-out.
