In the villas of Altea Hills, Sierra Altea, Cap Negret and La Olla the problem is different: several bathrooms, a pressure pump or tank, designer taps with specific cartridges and months with the house shut. When the Norwegian, Dutch or Russian owner arrives, so does the cistern that will not stop, the burst outside tap and the flexi hose that has given way in the guest bathroom. We check the whole house in one visit and fix whatever is leaking.

What goes beyond taps in a villa
If in Altea Hills the pressure drops in the whole house or the water comes in surges, the fault is usually the pressure pump, the tank float or the pressure-reducing valve at the inlet, not the taps. We check before changing parts and, if it is the pump, we tell you which technician handles it. In village houses, a stain on the downstairs ceiling can come from a buried iron pipe: that is building work and we pass you to a builder rather than opening up without a quote.

We adapt a universal flush and float mechanism in most ceramic tanks, for 60-110 €. If the tank is cracked or it is a high-level chain model with no possible replacement, we propose a complete new toilet with 90-150 € labour and give you the price of the unit before buying it.
Can you check the villa before we arrive?
Yes. With the key from the agent or the guard we open the mains stopcock, check cisterns, taps, flexi hoses, garden tap and water heater, repair whatever is leaking at the price agreed on WhatsApp and send you photos and the invoice. It is what Altea Hills owners ask us for most in May.
Do you charge a call-out fee in Altea?
Not if you accept the fixed quote. If you decide not to go ahead with the repair once we are there, we charge 35 € for the trip. The same rule applies in Albir, Alfaz del Pi, La Nucía and Calpe.
Do you do boilers, water heaters or pools?
Boilers, gas water heaters and gas in general, no: they require a licensed installer and we pass you to our partner. We do not do water certificates either.
