What sea air does to bathrooms in Dénia

When the leak is not in the taps
If in a villa in Les Marines the meter turns with every tap closed and nothing is wet, the leak may be in the buried pipe between the meter and the house or in the pool circuit. We do the basic check (close the house's mains stopcock and see whether the meter keeps turning) and tell you who to call: locating buried leaks is building work or a specialist leak detector's job, not a plumber's without building work. We do not charge for telling you it is not ours.

How long do you take to reach Les Marines or El Montgó?
Between 30 and 60 minutes, 8am to 9pm every day. Les Marines and the Puerto we usually reach at the short end; the higher partidas of the Montgó and Jesús Pobre, at the long end. Outside those hours we only go out for leaks that cannot be shut off at the mains stopcock.
Why do flexi hoses rust so much in Dénia and what do you fit?
Because of the salt in the air, which attacks the steel braid from outside while limescale damages the rubber inside. We fit quality stainless steel flexi hoses and ball-type isolation valves; in bathrooms very close to the sea we recommend checking them every five years. The replacement is included in the price of the repair when we do it together with the tap or the cistern.

Do you charge a call-out fee in Dénia?

Do you do water heaters, boilers or the pool filtration unit?
No. Boilers, gas water heaters and gas in general require a licensed installer and we pass you to our partner; we do not do water certificates either. The filtration unit is a job for the pool technician. A tap, a stopcock or a flexi hose in the pool area we do replace.
